A webinar presented by the IBA Poverty and Social Development Committee, supported by the IBA Immigration and Nationality Law Committee

Supported by Migration Law Interest Group (MLIG) of the American Society of International Law; and the Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) of the University of Ottawa.

This webinar aims to shed light on the intricate dynamics of migration, particularly focusing on populations grappling with poverty and vulnerability. By exploring global perspectives and considering migration as a potential adaptation strategy, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by these communities. The goal is to catalyse informed discussions, laws and policy-making, and support mechanisms that can address the root causes and effects of migration in today's interconnected world.
