Scholarships available for the 2012 IBA Annual Conference in Dublin
This year the sections and committees of the IBA's Legal Practice Division are once again offering scholarships to young lawyers who wish to participate in the IBA Annual Conference, but who may find financial difficulties in doing so.
The 2012 scholarship awards include the following:
free registration for the IBA Annual Conference, 30 September – 5 October 2012, Dublin, Ireland;
a contribution towards travel costs to the conference;
a contribution towards accommodation costs while attending the conference;
two year's free membership of the IBA, LPD and PPID including membership of one committee within the awarding section and one free PPID committee;
a waiver of either the next IBA Annual Conference registration fee or the registration fee for the next specialist conference of their chosen committee; and
free membership of the Scholarship Alumni Group.

Each application must be accompanied by a paper on a subject selected by each of the sections/committees, further details of which are available by clicking on the above links.
Please be advised that applicants are only permitted to apply for one section or committee scholarship and must be 35 years or under at the time of the conference.
The deadline for submissions is Monday 9 April, except for the Jack Batievsky Scholarship (deadline 07 May), Taxation Section (deadline Thursday 10 May) and the International Sales, Franchising and Product Law Section (deadline Monday 14 May).
