IPDP Course Content

The International Practice Diploma Programme currently offers ten diplomas. Click on the links below to view the content of each Diploma.

The next Diplomas begin on 26 January 2009. Application forms must be received by 5 January 2009.

Please note that we plan to replace this programme with our popular and practice-focused LL.M in International Legal Practice. The modules will be phased out gradually over two years to allow students to complete their study (see final enrolment dates below).

• International Commercial Law (Final chance for enrolment July 2009)
• International Capital Markets and Loans (Final chance for enrolment January 2010)
• International Mergers and Acquisitions (Final chance for enrolment January 2010)
• Human Rights Law and Practice (Final Chance for enrolment January 2010)
• Human Rights and Criminal Procedure (Final Chance for enrolment January 2010)
• International Business Organisations (Final chance for enrolment July 2010)
• International Antitrust/Competition Law (Final Chance for enrolment July 2010)
• International Arbitration (Final chance for enrolment July 2010)
• International Joint Ventures (Final chance for enrolment January 2011)

 There are no compulsory Diplomas on the International Practice Diploma Programme and all Diplomas are offered via distance learning.

To help students to achieve the IBA Fellowship in International Legal Practice the fees are discounted by 10 per cent for early registration and for any second or subsequent Diplomas you enrol in.
