DRC legal workshops, 2010 - 2011The IBAHRI Legal Specialist organised four workshops during his mandate with the Lubumbashi Bar Association, focused on legal aid and pro bono work, business and human rights, corruption and international criminal law.
Panel discussion: A debate on business and human rights in the Democratic Republic of Congo, 2009The IBAHRI and ILAC hosted an open discussion on the exploitation of natural resources, incidences of sexual violence, and the needs and failings of the justice system in the DRC, to launch the release of the IBAHRI fact-finding mission report.
DRC fact-finding mission, 2009In 2009 the IBAHRI sent a delegation to DRC to conduct a thorough examination of the failing justice system. Following the mission the IBAHRI released a report detailing the delegation's findings and recommendations.
