Insolvency, Restructuring and Creditors' Rights Subcommittees
The Section on Insolvency, Restructuring and Creditors Rights has three subcommittees. Each subcommittee generates periodic reports on its activities for the section's newsletter, and other publications (and, in the case of the Insolvency Legislation and Reform Harmonisation Subcommittee, for WOC when appropriate), as well as programme material for the committee’s presentations at the section’s mid-year meeting and the annual meeting of the IBA.
Each subcommittee is led by a chair selected by the SIRC leadership. Subcommittee leadership contributions will be strongly considered in the leadership succession process for SIRC. As new members join SIRC, they will be encouraged to join one or more subcommittees.
It is envisioned that, as international insolvency practice continues to evolve over the coming years, other subcommittees may be created with LPD approval.
