The International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI) condemns the sacking of all judges in Fiji by the country’s President. Late last week, President Ratu Josefa Iloilovatu Uluivuda abrogated the Constitution and dismissed all judicial personnel following a court decision on 9 April 2009 which held that the December 2006 coup was illegal.
