IBAHRI joint statement on civil rights during Covid-19 at the UN Human Rights Council virtual informal conversation
On 9 April 2020, at the United Nations Human Rights Council virtual informal conversation with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI) issued a joint statement calling on states to respect the rule of law and fundamental human rights when considering responses to the Covid-19 pandemic.
