The Bar Issues Commission is currently involved in the following projects:

Guidelines for Bar Associations on post graduate training |

A set of guidelines providing a best practice model for bar associations to adopt in respect of training young lawyers is being developed by a working group of the BIC in partnership with members of the IBA’s Academic and Professional Development Committee.
The guidelines will be completed during 2011.

Resolutions Working Group |
|
The BIC recognises that it is important that resolutions passed by the IBA Council are written formally and with the intent to produce a response from IBA members. A format and background to producing a resolution is being drafted by a working group in this regard.
