A webinar presented by the IBA Human Rights Law Committee and supported by the IBA Rule of Law Forum

This webinar will focus on the lived experiences of human rights lawyers facing threats in Southeast Asia. The conversation will focus on Cambodia, Singapore and Vietnam. It will highlight that there are similarities in the threats faced by lawyers across the region, such as legal challenges, repressions, resilience and the broader impact of their human rights work. It will shine a light on the urgency and gravity of their situation, with the intention of making a compelling call to action to create space for solidarity and support for lawyers in Southeast Asia and their fundamental role in the defense of human rights.
