The European Forum of the International Bar Association, together with a number of the committees of the Corporate, Finance, Insolvency, Real Estate and Tax Sections, are organising a conference on "Cross-Border Real Estate Investment in Europe".  The conference will take place in Copenhagen on 17-19 September 2008

The conference will be the largest ever specialist meeting of lawyers on the topic organised by the IBA in Europe.  The organisers expect to have delegates from practically all European jurisdictions and from most, if not all of the main international and national law firms servicing the industry.  The speakers will be senior representatives of banks, funds and other companies in the industry.  The speaker group will also include many of the leading lawyers in this field in Europe.

The conference programme, which will be available soon, will focus on industry trends and opportunities, covering the full cycle of investment, from raising capital, investing it and repatriation of capital and profits.  It will also consider insolvency issues and what is expected from lawyers servicing the industry.

You can register you interest for the conference now by clicking here. You will then be notified in the coming weeks as soon as the full programme is available and booking open.

We look forward to seeing you in Denmark's wonderful capital city for informative and topical discussions and a great opportunity to network with fellow professionals in the field.
