The Prosecutor vs. Thomas Lubanga Dyilo: 30 May – 22 June 2007
Introduction
The court activity during this period concerned the applications for Amicus Curiae briefs submitted by L’Ordre des Avocats de Paris and the International Criminal Bar supporting Mr. Lubanga’s request for additional resources and the Registrar’s opposition to the briefs.
On 13 June, the Appeals Chamber handed down two major decisions which had generated a number of pleadings namely the decision on the admissibility of the appeal of Mr. Thomas Lubanga Dyilo against the decision of Pre-Trial Chamber I confirming the charges and the “Decision on the Joint Application of Victims a/0001/06 to a/0003/06 and a/0105/06 concerning the Directions and Decision of the Appeals Chamber”.
