ICC Confirmation Hearing - Week 2: Thomas Lubanga Dyilo

Introduction

The following report is an overview of some of the main issues raised during the second week of the confirmation hearing. In the absence of public court transcripts at the time of writing, this report is based on unofficial notes taken during the hearing.

This week was reserved for the Defence who cross-examined the one Prosecution witness who gave testimony in person. In addition, the Defence challenged other Prosecution documentary and video evidence and presented its own evidence.
