Looking Ahead
The presiding judge concluded the proceedings by stating that written arguments could be presented by the Prosecution (by 4 December 2006) and by the Defence and victims’ representatives (by 6 December 2006) and that the Chamber had extended the limit for such argumentation from 20 to 40 pages. The judge requested such observations to be submitted in French.
The judge closed the proceedings by stating the Chamber had 60 days (until 29 January 2007) in which to render a decision.
