Mr. Lubanga’s Response
On 17 April 2007, Mr. Lubanga filed a response to the Registrar’s Observations. Mr. Lubanga asserted that the Registrar’s submissions on the legal assistance scheme were premature and irrelevant as his request in the ‘Clarification’ document was for a stay of proceedings and no request had as yet been made by him for additional resources. Further, he disclosed his intention to apply for additional means in the absence of defence counsel per Regulation 83(3) of the Regulations of the Court.
