Prosecution Response to the Defence’s Appeal


On 6 March 2007 the Prosecution filed its response to the Defence’s appeal.  The Prosecution opposed the Defence’s application for leave to appeal, except in relation to the mutual contention that the Chamber acted ultra vires in confirming charges that were not brought by the Prosecution, without following the procedure enshrined in Article 61(7).
