About the HRI Work by Regions  ICC   Media  Publications

The HRI 's media work and advocacy campaigns have galvanised international support to lobby for change. The HRI has raised the profile of judicial crises, particularly in Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Venezuela, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. HRI media work involves:

• LegalBrief Africa: an innovative IBA electronic news diary that delivers a succinct weekly wrap-up of important African legal news to lawyers across Africa and the world. It is premised on the fact that African lawyers need quicker access to more, better information and lawyers around the world need to know what's going on in Africa. • Interventions when lawyers, judges, officials of lawyers' associations or others involved in the legal systems are threatened, detained or abused.
