Committee Overview

The aim of the Consumer Litigation Committee is to consider international aspects of liability and the consumer's rights such as:

The role of the lawyer in protecting the consumer
Links between fair competitors' protection and the defence of consumers
The consumer's rights in mail-order and door-to-door sales
Product liability
Unfair contract terms and misleading and unfair advertising

Additionally, the Arbitration Committee works with the following Committees to form the Dispute Resolution Section:
