The law and business of convergence in Asia
12-13 March 2007, Shanghai

From 12-13 March, 2007 the Intellectual Property, Communications and Technology Section of the International Bar Association and the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA), with the support of the Shanghai Bar Association hosted a conference with respect to convergence in Asia providing the basis for a cross cultural dialogue among all participants. During this two day event, attendees had the opportunity to join sessions discussing a broad range of topics such as the enforcement of IP rights, questions on how to obtain and retain IP rights as well as the commercialisation of stars and sports, all focussed on converging technologies.
