Sale of Goods Subcommittee ♦
This is a subcommittee of the International Sales Committee.

An award of access to an institution, or a financial aid award for a student to further education.

Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law (SEERIL)
Aims to advance the development and understanding of the law affecting oil and gas, mining, power, water, international construction projects and environment, health and safety law.

Section on Insolvency, Restructuring & Creditors' Rights (SIRC)


Securities Law Committee ♦
The main goal of the Securities Law Committee is to bring together securities lawyers from a broad range of countries to follow, discuss and shape public policy in a world of rapidly globalising capital markets. This is a committee of the Financial Services Section.

It has the function of bringing together small groups for recurring meetings, focusing each time on some particular subject, in which everyone present is requested to actively participate.

Senior Lawyers Committee ♦

Member of the legal profession chiefly concerned with advising clients and preparing their cases and representing them in some Courts. May also act as advocates before certain Courts or tribunals.

Southern Africa Litigation Centre (SALC)
The Centre promotes Human Rights and the Rule of Law and operates in the following Southern African countries: Angola, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Space Law Committee ♦
The Space Law Committee provides a forum for outer space lawyers to address the increasing number of practical legal issues arising in commercial and regulatory activities in this specialised area of domestic and international law. This is a committee of the Intellectual Property, Communications and Technology Law Section.


Standard Forms Subcommittee ♦
This is a subcommittee of the International Construction Projects Committee. This subcommittee deals with contract conditions and other standard documents relevant for international construction projects, in particular standard forms for engineering, construction, joint ventures/consortia and subcontracting.

State Mediation Subcommittee ♦
The Mediation Committee has a subcommittee devoted to mediation with States. The primary objective of the subcommittee is to examine the current use of mediation in relation to investor-state disputes, to determine whether its wider use would benefit the investor-state dispute system in general (or discrete types of participants who use it in particular), to identify and assess obstacles to wider use of investor-state mediation, and to propose concrete measures that might be pursued to increase resort to mediation for investor-state disputes should our initial findings make such proposals appropriate.
