The IBAHRI is seeking an International Expert (French speaker) and a ToT Expert (Arabic speaker) for its Tunisia project

Between 2014-2016, the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI) (together with its partner organisations) worked with 1,800 of Tunisian judges and prosecutors to raise their awareness of the applicability of international human rights standards to domestic proceedings and the role of a judge in a democratic society.

Between 2018 and 2021, the IBAHRI is partnering with the International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC) and the OHCHR to improve the protection and enforcement of economic, social and cultural (ESC) rights in Tunisia. The IBAHRI will organise a series of trainings for Tunisian judges, lawyers, and human rights activists on the enforcement of ESC rights in Tunisia.

The IBAHRI is seeking:

  • an International Expert (French speaker) to facilitate three ToT workshops on ESC rights for Tunisian judges in 2018 and 2019. Please click here for the job advertisement
