IBAHRI oral statement at Interactive Dialogue with the Independent Expert on Albinism - Human Rights Council, 37th Session

On the 7 March 2018, the International Bar Association Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI) delivered an oral statement at the 37th Session of the Human Rights Council to reiterate a number of recommendations raised in its report on the obligations of states in relation to persons with albinism. 

The statement focused on the health needs of persons with albinism and brought attention to states' obligation to ensure the highest standard of health for persons with albinism, giving practical recommendations on how to achieve this.
