From BRICs to MINT and beyond - Capital markets and corporate finance in and involving BRICs and MINT

BRICS and MINT countries are at different stages of development. This is perhaps even more acute when one looks at their respective domestic and cross-border markets for debt and equity securities, derivative transactions, securitisation and structured finance. This panel will try to identify and discuss business, economic, financial, legal and regulatory trends currently affecting these emerging capital markets, the different stages of corporate governance and regulation (be it from governmental authorities and self-regulation) at which some of these countries currently are and how to navigate these jurisdictions given their higher risk profile vis-a-vis more developed regions and distinct cultural traits.
