Building a faster and better internet: funding and state aid for next generation networks
All countries want faster and better internet, but achieving this goal is proving to be quite difficult. Next Generation Network projects are expensive and many operators are slow to take the plunge. What is needed to encourage investment in the backbone of digital economy? How does private and public funding interrelate? How do the rules for state aid apply to Next Generation Network initiatives? These important issues will be explored in this timely session.
