The article describes Ukrainian law-enforcement bodies' approach towards the definition of the ‘average consumer’ concept, as well as provides an overview of current challenges of advertising regulation in the pharmaceutical area, namely, advertising of medicines with expired marketing authorisation and attempts to fully ban advertising of medicines in Ukraine.
