The IBA’s response to the situation in Ukraine
(1) Registrar of the Supreme Court of Belize: keeps the list of attorneys-at-law known as the “Roll”; and the Registrar issues Practicing Certificates
(2) The Supreme Court of Belize: applications for admission to practice law are made to the Supreme Court

(1) General Legal Council: responsible for establishing, adopting and upholding standards of professional conduct; consisting of the Chief Justice or a judge of the Supreme Court appointed by the Chief Justice, the Attorney General or his nominee, and three attorneys- at-law elected by the Bar Association, of whom two shall be attorneys-at-law of not less than two years standing in the profession, and two attorneys-at-law appointed by the Attorney General; the Chief Justice or a judge of the Supreme Court appointed by the Chief Justice shall be the Chairperson of the Council.
(2) The Registrar of the Supreme Court: responsible for issuing Practicing Certificates and reporting Attorneys practising without a certificate to the Chief Justice of Belize.
