Adwokat (Advocate)/ Radca Prawny (Legal Adviser); There are two equal regulated legal professions in Poland – advocates and legal advisers. Each profession is regulated by a separate Bar Association: Polish Bar Council for advocates and National Council of Legal Advisers for legal advisers. Both Bars were establish by the acts of Parliament.

For legal advisers – Krajowa Rada Radców Prawnych – National Council of Legal Advisers For advocates - Naczelna Rada Adwokacka - Polish Bar Council It must be noted that 24 Regional Bar Councils and 19 Regional Chambers of Legal Advisers are responsible for keeping the registers of advocates and legal advisers. Both the Polish Bar Council and the National Council of Legal Advisers publish the national database of lawyers (for legal advisers: www.rejestrradcow.pl, for advocates: www.rejestradwokatow.pl)
