This panel will look at claims trends, including Lloyd’s market modernisation and social inflation.

A friendly and lively mock trial, where volunteers will take on the roles (for argument only) of both a cedant and a reinsurer, so we can hear how both sides of a reinsurance contract might argue their positions. Does Covid-19 constitute a natural peril, or one or more events?
