A webinar presented by the IBA Rule of Law Forum and supported by the IBA Judges’ Forum
As part of a novel thought leadership initiative by the IBA Rule of Law Forum, this seminar will draw from cross-regional expertise to discuss ongoing and evolving threats to the rule of law. This seminar, focusing on ‘threats to the independence of lawyers and judges’, is the first of the series. Building on the successful 2019 Rule of Law Symposium discussion at the IBA Seoul Annual Conference, the panel will explore how threats to the independence of the legal profession have evolved since, as well as common, cross-regional trends of interest or concern.
