This is part three of a three-part webinar series presented by the China Working Group of the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum, supported by the IBA Antitrust Section
With the rapid development of the platform, big data, artificial intelligence, the digital economy is becoming an important force in driving the development and transformation of the global economy. From an antitrust compliance perspective, the development of the digital economy poses new challenges: To what extent does the traditional antitrust law apply to the digital economy? In what aspects should the uniqueness of the digital economy be considered? In the era of the digital economy, how will competition enforcement agencies in various jurisdictions respond?
To analyse and discuss the above issues, our panellists will share insights on the status of the above topics in China, the EU, Japan, and the US.
