This is part four of a six-part training series presented by the India Working Group of the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum, and the IBA Young Lawyers’ Committee.
As policies regulating data protection rapidly evolve in different parts of the world, the session will delve into issues such as the harmonisation of privacy and data protection laws, the disclosure of uses of collected personal information, the fiduciary responsibilities of companies and processes for grievance redressal. This session also aims to discuss India’s data protection policies and proposed legislative initiatives.
