A webinar presented by the IBA Anti-Corruption Committee
This webinar will integrate the views of lawyers, compliance officers, rating agencies and financial investors to assess the role of anti-corruption in environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies and in the continuously increasing corporate compliance management challenges relating to the protection of human rights and the environment across complex international supply and value chains.
The panel will explain:
• what is the 'G' (ie, governance) in ESG?
• why anti-corruption is an essential part of governance for many organisations;
• how anti-corruption compliance can be leveraged for new corporate sustainability duties of care; and
• how compliance is evaluated by ESG rating agencies and financial investors.
