A webinar presented by the IBA Real Estate Section

The changing emphasis on real estate asset classes has been a recurrent theme adopted by the IBA Real Estate Section in its activities over the past year. The emerging asset classes that have been newly introduced in some jurisdictions or else have enjoyed an increased popularity during the Covid-19 pandemic include data centres and warehousing and logistics. These developments have increased the need for the cross-border sharing of knowledge on innovative approaches to deal with transactions pertaining to these asset classes.

This webinar will cover:

• an overview of national policies across jurisdictions;

• due diligence checklists;

• site selection criteria; and

• co-location agreements.
