UKELG Evening Roundtable Panel Oil and Gas M&A - Key Issues and Trends

CMS partner Jonathan Woolf will facilitate a discussion among a panel of experts, including partners from other ‘top 10’ law firms, senior lawyers from oil and gas companies and contractors and senior bankers, on some of the key issues, trends and challenges in the acquisition and disposal of upstream and midstream oil and gas interests. Themes will include the state of the market generally both in the UKCS and internationally and current trends in deals and deal-making, as well as specific topics such as the various solutions to decommissioning liability, the expectations and approach of private equity buyers, the evolving role of the oil majors and NOCs and the appetite for political/country risk in emerging markets.
