A webinar presented by the IBA Women Lawyers' Interest Group and the IBA African Regional Forum

Free registration here

The IBA Women Lawyers' Interest Group and the IBA African Regional Forum are pleased to be collaborating again to explore issues affecting women’s participation and growth in the legal sector.

For long-term and sustainable career development, it is important for lawyers to have mentors, sponsors and advisers. Many women lawyers face challenges in developing these relationships. The reasons for these challenges have core similarities across jurisdictions and legal practices. Further, these challenges have been exacerbated by the impact of working remotely during the Covid-19 crisis, as changing work dynamics have combined with increasing and significant demands at home.

This webinar will facilitate discussion among leading lawyers working in-house and in private practice around the world, who will share tips, insights and lessons learned about mentorship, establishing sustainable career paths and balancing increasing and changing demands at home with their professional lives.
