Biography
Renata Fialho de Oliveira is a corporate and M&A partner at Veirano Advogados, leading the healthcare and life sciences area of practice.
Renata represents pharmaceutical and medical device companies in transactional matters in relation to M&A and divestitures, joint ventures and strategic alliances, outsourcing projects, product development and licensing agreements. She also advises private equity and strategic investors in a wide variety of transactional matters in the healthcare and life sciences industries. As a trusted advisor, she helps domestic and multinational life science companies, start-ups and investors to navigate the challenging Brazilian regulatory environment and develop practical and innovative approaches.
Renata Fialho de Oliveira is distinguished for her expertise in life sciences and healthcare in Who is Who Legal Transactional (Global Leader), Who is Who Legal (National Leader), Leaders League, Análise Advocacia 500 and Análise Advocacia Mulher. In 2021 she has been awarded the Client Choice Awards recognition for her work in life sciences.
Mrs Fialho de Oliveira graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo in 2001. She obtained her master’s degree (2006) and PhD, with distinction (2010), from the Law Faculty of the University of São Paulo; and her LLM degree from Columbia University, New York (2011). During her PhD, she was a visiting researcher and scholarship holder of the Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Privatrecht, the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law and The Hague Academy of International Law.
