Aleksandr Volohhonski
Biography
Aleksandr Volohhonski is a co-founder and developer of CheckOpti. CheckOpti (Checktocashup OÜ), a technology based on physical graphical encryption method, patented in US, etc. With this method they can apply “fingerprint” to QR code or any digital printed image and it will be machine-readable so users have ability to check if mark (anti counterfeit, excise stamp, etc) is original or not, thus product is original, legal, etc. Aleksandr is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, and MBA from Boston University of Massachusetts, US, including International Management Program Japan, between BU and Sanyo Corporation. Previously Aleksandr has worked as development and project manager in various fields including banking and telecommuncations. From 2006 to 2016, Aleksandr built and managed Ammonia Terminal in Tallinn, Estonia, still one of the most technically advanced and modern of its type. From 2016 Aleksandr ventured into the realm of ICT with numerous projects, notably the aforementioned CheckOpti.
