Biography

Ben is an expert in M & A and venture capital transactions as well as corporate compliance. He advises funds, corporations and growth-oriented companies in corporate law. In particular, his clients value his extensive understanding of the economy and his extraordinary negotiating skills, with which he successfully completes even complex transactions. Ben studied law in Passau, Bonn and at the College Christ Church in Oxford. Prior to co-founding SMP, he was Associate Partner at Flick Gocke Schaumburg and previously Principal Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Ben regularly publishes on corporate compliance and corporate law topics.
