Biography

Christian Bjørtuft Ellingsen is a partner at Simonsen Vogt Wiig. He works mainly on assignments concerning contract law in the transport and energy sector, public procurement law and dispute resolution. Ellingsen has over the last years assisted a number of public entities and private companies, including drafting and reviewing contract terms, carrying out procurement processes, and assisting in negotiations and handling disputes. He has particular experience from projects concerning digitalization in shipping, including MASS. He has lectured at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law at the University of Oslo and at the Norwegian Business School BI, including lectures on liability under shipbuilding contracts and MASS.
