DESCRIPTION:2016 has seen some significant cases concerning immunities\, 
 including the case of Omar al-Bashir in South Africa and a challenge in 
 the UK courts concerning Special Mission Immunity granted to the Egyptia
 n Army’s Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy.\nThis session will review these 
 and other recent cases and consider the development of law in relation t
 o immunity.
