SUMMARY:Corruption in obtaining and performing government contracts: how 
 do courts and tribunals address allegations of corruption?
DESCRIPTION:Given the recent wave of corruption scandals\, such as those 
 involving infrastructure companies in Latin America\, courts and tribuna
 ls in both commercial and criminal settings have had to address increasi
 ngly complex and novel issues. This panel will discuss how adjudicators 
 have reacted thus far\, and lay out what can be expected going forward. 
 The panel will also address some important ramifications\, including rec
 ent trends in government and private action to fight corruption and shie
 ld against corruption risk.
