DESCRIPTION:A seminar presented by the Young Litigators Forum of the IBA 
 Litigation Committee\n\n\n\nThe session will focus on how to cross-exami
 ne experts\, based on a hypothetical supported bymaterials. The attendee
 s are invited to read the materials in advance\, to acquaint themselves 
 with the case and thus follow the seminar more effectively.\n\nThe sessi
 on will start with the panel (formed of experts in damage valuation and 
 barristers/lawyers) conducting a mock cross-examination of expert witnes
 ses\, before providing advice on the dos and don’ts and discussing diffe
 rences between expert witness examination methods in different jurisdict
 ions.\n\nSubsequently\, the audience will decidewhich was the most effec
 tive way of proceeding and will have the chance to participate in a Q&am
 p\;A session with the panel.\n\nThe session will be a great opportunity 
 for young lawyers and law students to learn from seasoned professionals 
 and to get acquainted with the difficult art of expert cross-examination
