SUMMARY:Space law and ethics: commercial versus military conflicts
DESCRIPTION:Several countries have already incorporated military units de
signated as “space forces”. National defence and security issues are no
longer limited to land\, air and sea but have expanded into space. Prote
cting critical satellite infrastructure from cyber-attacks\, securing an
d protecting space objects in general are becoming crucial tasks. Has th
e principle of neutral and peaceful use of space become obsolete? We wil
l be exploring legal issues\, ethics and resolving disputes around this
question against the background of recent developments that point toward
s the space becoming a potential legal and physical “battlefield”.
