DESCRIPTION:While many countries have anti-discrimination and equal oppor
 tunity legislation\, the employment gap between disabled and non-disable
 d people remains persistently high and seemingly resistant to any effort
 s to narrow it. However\, with the rise of flexibility in the way we wor
 k following the Covid-19 pandemic\, this creates a unique opportunity to
  consider the intersection of technology and disability and reap the ben
 efits of a disability confident workforce. This session will consider th
 e barriers that currently exist\, and the opportunities for meaningful p
 rogress to reduce the employment gap.
