SUMMARY:Open session on fostering workplace wellbeing in the legal profes
 sion - IBA Professional Wellbeing Commission
DESCRIPTION:All IBA Officers of sections\, committees\, fora and bar asso
 ciations are invited to attend.\n\nThis session will take the form of a 
 round table meeting and will look at some of the key findings from the w
 orkplace wellbeing research of the IBA Professional Wellbeing Commission
 . Based on global roundtable discussions\, survey data and practitioner 
 insights\, the session will look at some of the key messages from our wo
 rkplace wellbeing research. The research looks at why workplace wellbein
 g matters and the challenges and opportunities faced by law firms in man
 aging wellbeing issues. The session will look at alternative strategies 
 enabling law firms to move from a largely reactive approach to a more en
 gaged and proactive approach to workplace wellbeing. It will also look a
 t the role that Bar Associations and other organisations involved in the
  legal profession can play in supporting law firms in adopting this new 
 approach.\n
