A webinar presented by the IBA Alternative and New Law Business Structures Committee

Lawyers have a pivotal role at times of risk management and often have an overarching role in the legal services industry. Their role becomes even more essential when there are impending cybersecurity risks and breaches in transactions that take place in an increasingly tech-driven world. This webinar will address lawyers' roles in readiness and mitigation of cybersecurity threats, as well as regulatory/compliance matters and legal duties surrounding these risks.

To that end, a distinguished panel of speakers will shed light on the substantive understanding of cybersecurity breaches, how to plan for and take care of these breaches and the advantages garnered from having lawyers conduct these measures in comparison to other service providers in the industry.
