Dr. Rachum-Twaig is an IP, IT and Cyber partner in FBC’s Corporate Department. Dr. Rachum-Twaig's practice concentrates on intellectual property, privacy and data protection, information security and commercial cyber issues, as well as technology and information-oriented transactions. Dr. Rachum-Twaig provides legal counsel to individuals, private companies and public companies with respect to intellectual property, information technology, privacy and data protection, information security, internet law, artificial intelligence and media, and entertainment law, including with respect to patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets, as well as other related areas, such as commercial cyber issues and dual-use technologies export. Dr. Rachum-Twaig obtained a Ph.D. (Law) from Tel-Aviv University with a dissertation in intellectual property, focusing on copyright law doctrine and theory, and has published articles in various legal fields in leading academic journals worldwide, which were cited by the Israeli Supreme Court and other academic works. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), certified by (ISC)², the world's largest cyber security certification association. Dr. Rachum-Twaig is an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Law, Tel-Aviv University, and teaches the commercial cyber law classes in the Tel-Aviv – Berkeley executive L.L.M. program and the Faculty's L.L.B. program. Dr. Rachum-Twaig is also a research fellow at the Federmann Cyber Security Center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dr. Rachum-Twaig was recently recognized as 40 Under 40 by TheMarker, one of Israel’s leading financial magazines. And is the author of “Copyright Law and Derivative Works: Regulating Creativity”, published by Routledge Press. Prior to joining the firm and to his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Rachum-Twaig clerked for the Hon. Justice Yoram Danziger of the Israel Supreme Court.

I am a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Group at UK law firm Kingsley Napley. I advise on a broad range of corporate, commercial and individual disputes. I represent my clients in litigation, arbitration and mediation. Much of my work is involved in ‘dispute avoidance’ and developing risk management solutions in order to identify and mitigate risk at an early stage. I am known for giving highly commercial and practical advice which always focusses on my client’s key objectives, be they commercial, financial or reputational. A significant part of my work centres on contentious Information Law matters including Intellectual Property disputes, contentious Data Protection advice, Cyber-Response, and Reputation Management. I have also represented both corporate and individual clients at coroners’ inquests and public inquiries. I also act for individuals and families in contentious trusts and probate matters, shareholder and succession disputes, and disputes sitting at the intersection of personal and corporate lives. I have considerable experience acting in cross-border litigation and have been involved in global disputes involving clients or litigation in the Middle East, USA, South Africa, Europe and various offshore jurisdictions (Cayman Islands, Jersey, Guernsey). I am a fluent German speaker and spent a year studying German law at Trier Universitat. I am a Solicitor Advocate having obtained my Higher Rights in 2008. I am a passionate advocate in all things DE&I and ESG and am my department's Responsible Business Partner. Outside my day job I am Vice Chair of The Law Society's Civil Justice Committee, a Lay Observer for the Ministry of Justice, and a member of the International Women's Forum.
