Accommodation
The IBA has reserved a limited number of bedrooms at the hotels listed below. Rates quoted are per room, per night, exclusive of breakfast, VAT (currently 16%), city tax (currently 3.5%), and mandatory porterage and housekeeping charges. To avail of these special rates, your booking must be made through Judy Lane ICS Ltd (JLICS), the only official hotel booking agency partnering with IBA for the Mexico City Conference.
By completing and submitting the accommodation reservation form to JLC ICS, once your reservation is confirmed you enter into a contract with that hotel for your requested stay. All accommodation costs are the responsibility of the delegate and are required to be paid, in full, by the attendee. For late cancellations or ‘no shows’ the accommodation cost will be charged by the hotel to the credit card supplied at the time of booking. Neither the IBA nor JLC ICS are liable for any individual’s financial cancellation penalties.
It has been brought to our attention that there are multiple companies contacting past attendees, claiming to represent the IBA, offering ‘assistance’ with registration and hotel bookings.
They are operating by cold-calling and spamming companies whose names have appeared on previous List of Participants, Programmes and Sponsorship recognition. The only accommodation agent the IBA works with is Judy Lane ICS. Judy Lane ICS does not contact delegates on behalf of the IBA without delegates making initial contact. Please ignore any communication that does not come directly from the IBA or Judy Lane ICS.
