I am a Managing Partner and co-founder at Plaintext Capital. Plaintext employs a multi-strategy approach to investing in Web3, utilizing fundamental research and active trading. Our research is sector and geography agnostic. We invest in early-stage venture and publicly traded assets. We manage investments on behalf of family offices, fund of funds, crypto treasuries and individuals.
Previously, I was an Executive Director of J.P. Morgan's Private Bank overseeing over US$3 billion in cumulative positions for investors across the US and LatAm. I led the Life Sciences vertical in Florida, was the Analyst Manager and served on the Cyber Security Council. Previously, I was a global analyst at HSBC Bank in several roles in Hong Kong, London, Miami and New York. While in Hong Kong, I worked in the alternatives team managing portfolios of hedge funds for institutional investors. I started my career as a sell-side analyst at Eurohold Investment Bank.
In 2016, I co-founded Jubel, an award-winning start-up in the travel industry.
I graduated with double majors in Business Management and Modern Languages from the University of Bath, UK.
In the past, I have worked with several charities including Habitat for Humanity, UN Commissioner for Refugees and CATISA, a charity that benefits children affected by violence and economic hardship.
I'm an avid Cross Fit'er, skier, USPA licensed skydiver and PADI certified scuba-diver.
