Biography

Ryan R. Toteja is a Principal and the Chief Counsel, Investment Funds, at Platinum Equity. Mr. Toteja is based in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Toteja is responsible for the legal and structuring aspects of investment funds at Platinum, and also serves on the DE&I Council and the ESG Committee. Prior to joining Platinum in 2021, Mr. Toteja led the fund formation legal team at The Carlyle Group in Washington, DC. Mr. Toteja started his legal career with the law firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York where he primarily worked in the Private Equity, Tax and Real Estate groups. Mr. Toteja received his B.S. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, and his J.D. from Columbia Law School.
