Biography

Pati Hertling is the Senior Director of Performance Space New York, an arts institution founded in 1980 dedicated to experimental performance and interdisciplinary practice. Trained as both a lawyer and curator, she has worked at the intersection of art and law for two decades. Her past projects include the salon series *Evas Arche und der Feminist* (Berlin/New York, 2005–2010), exhibitions at the Chelsea Art Museum, White Columns, and the Swiss Institute, and the co-founding of Material Vodka, a company exploring alternative arts funding models.
