Neil Campbell

Biography

Neil is an internationally recognized authority in competition law, foreign investment and international trade. Neil is particularly well-known for his work in complex mergers and competition class actions. He has led hundreds of merger clearances under the Competition Act and the Investment Canada Act and defended clients in dozens of cartel cases and related class actions. Neil’s trade law experience includes numerous anti-dumping proceedings and advising clients on a wide range of sanctions matters. He is a top-ranked lawyer in Chambers Global, a “global elite” lawyer in Who’s Who Legal: Competition, and the recipient of the Global Competition Review “Merger Lawyer of the Year” award. Neil is a former co-chair of the IBA Antitrust Section and co-chairs its Merger Working Group.
